My daycare focuses on: play-based learning, citizenship and kindness, emotional awareness and coping skills, and a comfortable atmosphere.

I have worked with children from the northern and southern hemisphere, as well as the eastern and western. From my experiences I’ve learned that all children learn and grow best the same way: through play. My daycare space is carefully designed with this concept in mind. Instead of drills and worksheets, children are given thematic, age-appropriate toys and activities to help them explore their abilities and interests. A great portion of my time is spent observing children take charge of their natural inclinations and adjusting the play space to serve their development and natural learning patterns.

As members of our group, children learn appropriate interpersonal skills in a safe and loving environment. Much of my focus is on helping children understand their big feelings and learn to cope with them. We learn that we are responsible for the care of ourselves and others.

I work in partnership with parents in the best interests of their child. I strive to cultivate trust and comfort with my families. As a mother of two small children, I am very aware of the great trust parents place in me when they leave their children in my care. I do not take that responsibility lightly.

Child care is my calling and I consider it an honor to help raise kind and happy citizens for the future of our world!
